Sacai x Ten c
For the 2020 Autumn Winter season, sacai has collaborated with the Italian brand Ten c on a capsule collection shown on the men’s runway. The pieces will be available globally through sacai menswear retail stores from the 19th September.
For the 2020 Autumn Winter season, sacai has collaborated with the Italian brand Ten c on a capsule collection shown on the men’s runway. The pieces will be available globally through sacai menswear retail stores from the 19th September.
The capsule collection incorporates Ten c's signature fabric, Original Japanese Jersey, commonly known as "OJJ", made of high-density knitted nylon and polyester fibers. OJJ is wind resistant and water repellent, while also offering a denim-like aging characteristic, due to the
unique product dyeing process of applying pressure at high temperatures. The capsule is comprised of outerwear pieces juxtaposing sportswear and military wear in sacai’s unique hybridization technique.
The collection consists of three styles; a mods coat silhouette created from the combination of sacai's bal collar coat and Ten c's PARKA, a blouson jacket with Ten c's TEMPEST ANORAK spliced on the side, and a down jacket with Ten c's ANORAK constructed as the inside layer with sacai’s military padded liner applied externally.
